World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The item upgrade is a type of enchantment that improves the stats of certain armor or weapons. This includes tertiary stats such as Leech or Speed.
A special evolution item that allows Porygon to evolve into Porygon2. This item can be found at Pokestops or Gyms.
Universal upgrades can be applied to any type of equipment and offer lower bonuses compared to other components that are specific to the particular type of equipment.
Leveling
Upgrades allow players to upgrade their items by increasing their levels. The level increase also boosts the item's "guaranteed" bonuses. Every level upgrade grants an additional bonus based on tier and increases a stat by +3. These bonuses can range from a +1 up to +3 bonus to an unspecified buff or debuff.

Each item is limited to a specific amount of upgrades. After an upgrade, the item can still be upgraded to a product of equal or greater worth.
This system is extremely useful for players who want to obtain gear with a certain level of stats before they have the opportunity to obtain an item that is new. The transfer system is simple to use and allows the player to save up on upgrade materials.
Upgrade materials are gathered as players clear their content and can be used to enhance or replace an item. Every item requires a specific type of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction stones, while armor items require Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. The materials are named after when the item is upgraded, for instance Stone Fragments become Stones and Harmony Shards become Life Shards.
It is crucial to upgrade items in order to boost a character's performance. However it is equally important to consider how much this will cost. Every time an item gets upgraded, the upgrade costs an amount of gold that could be better used on a new piece of gear. This is why it is advisable to upgrade only the most necessary items in any given circumstance.
This means upgrading the weapon, followed by the chest, legs and helm. If the player can afford it, upgrading trinkets should also be done in this stage to increase their potential for procs. Upgrades to a premium Throne of Thunder item may be worthwhile due to the increased damage it can cause. However, certain trinkets should not be upgraded unless they can provide significant improvements in a particular build. This is especially the case for breakpoint equipment that is used to boost stats such as IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a mechanic that allows players to change the stats of the weapon, armor, or ring, depending on the type. It can be used to add new bonuses or replace existing ones. It can also change the power base of the item.
Rerolling is an effective way to increase your power in the beginning stages of the game, it's not a necessary aspect of the game. Once you hit your level 6 upgrade goal, it's usually better to go down and look for the most powerful upgrades you can, or save for the next set of items. This will ensure that you have a robust roster by the time you hit the level 9 upgrade goal.
The rerolling process is like the leveling up system. You can use reroll tokens to remove any one Level Up option from your item and exchange it for another. However, unlike Level Up, reroll tokens do not reset the item's level. This means that if you roll an upgraded item, it won't be at the same level and won't be able to enjoy its extra bonus.
Players can also utilize an additional mechanic, Eliminate, to remove any Level Up option they have on their equipment or weapons. This is helpful if you've lost a gacha or you want to reroll an item with five stars. You'll need to set up an account from scratch or sign up via social media.
In the same way, there is an Occultist in every town who can be contacted to alter a weapon or armor's Aspects, stats, or attributes. This is helpful if you have an epic five-star unit that you want to improve or an elite four-star player you are struggling with.
Rerolling tokens are available by completing certain quests. They can be bought from the Occultist for 300 gold or they can be found in the holozon boxes which are dropped after having completed certain dungeons. You can then change the roll of any weapon or armor, or ring by moving the icon with the lock on it to the desired slot on your unit's page.
Sets
A set is a collection of items that are alike in some way. Sets are used every day. For example dozen eggs or a group of friends. They are beneficial because they help you organize things, and operations such as intersection, union and distinction help you to manage them effectively. Sets can be used in a variety of different ways, ranging from organizing music on a playlist, to classifying students based on their grades.
In Nioh the game uses Sets to give special effects when players are wearing pieces of a set of armor. These bonuses are known as Set Bonuses and they are superior to Effects. While it is not explained in the universe why armor sets need to be worn together to create these effects, they provide some variety when playing the game. The armor sets that have Set Bonuses are available in various locations throughout Hyrule as well as the Dark Moon and Twilight Temple.
Set Bonuses are a part of each piece of equipment that is part of a Set. You can determine which ones these are by hovering over the item and examining the tooltip at the bottom. Set Bonuses are displayed in a box that has the red border.
Certain of these set bonuses are only available for certain equipment. If you purchase the entire Phantom Armor set, you will be rewarded with +8 defense (instead of the 3 defense you get with most equipment). Other sets are available only by completing certain quests or buying them from the Auction House.
It is also possible to acquire Set Bonuses on several pieces of equipment simultaneously. For example, if you own the entire Kestra's Descent set and the matching parts of the Twinblade of Shadow you will get the + version of the set's bonus if you can match it.
Set Bonuses are the same, even if the equipment to which they are attached level up. However, if an item is exemplared to levels that are not enough, the set bonus will stop working.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are special effects which can be found on an item set and grant an advantage to the player in combat. They provide a certain amount of a specific kind of stat, such as weapon damage, or defenses, or even resistances. However, they cannot stack, and only one will be active at a time. The amount of a stat is determined by the number of pieces included in the set. For example you could have three weapons and four chests however only one of them will be useful.
They generally boost the primary stat of a piece, however some also boost secondary ones as well. Defense bonuses boost three defenses for each position and two defense types, so for example the full five-piece set of Hundings Rage will add up to a total of around 400 defense in your gear. This is an impressive increase in your gear for melee.
This is an extremely useful feature, and it is believed to be one of the most well-known features in the game. At present, only a handful of sets of gear have set bonuses, and they're only available in the Test Realm, but expect this number to rise once the update is live. The bonus will be added to the 7 school-specific Dragoons gear, for example.
Set bonuses don't stack within a set, but they do stack across sets. This is great for those who want to make the most effective combination of sets. However, item upgrades requires a bit of planning. Since set bonuses only affect the shell of a piece of equipment (not the armoring, mod or the enhancement), you have to be cautious about where you place them.
It is important to note that the amount of the set's bonus won't change even if your exemplar is more than three levels below the minimum required for an Enhancement. This rule doesn't apply to purple (Very rare) Sets, PvP Sets and Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses are in effect regardless of exemplar level.
